In mothers with a history of cesarean delivery, vaginal birth after cesarean section is a method of delivery that is generally approached with a distance, as the stitches in the uterus formed during cesarean section carry the risk of opening in subsequent births. However, with special follow-up and the correct practices of physicians, it is possible to have a vaginal birth after cesarean section without risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially considering the risks of repeated c-section<\/a> deliveries, VBAC is one of the methods we prefer to use in order to prevent the complications that surgical interventions can cause in the mother’s body, rather than having multiple incisions and stitches in the uterus – when mothers are suitable for vaginal delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Do Mothers Want VBAC?<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Especially mothers who have had to give birth by cesarean section before and have not tasted vaginal birth may prefer vaginal delivery in their next births. VBAC is a very valuable delivery method in terms of health in pregnant women who may be candidates for vaginal delivery<\/a> after cesarean section in order to reduce the increasing c-section rates in our country and to reduce the number of surgical interventions performed on mothers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hospital and Doctor Selection<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vaginal births after cesarean section require special follow-up due to the risks involved; therefore, it is important to embark on this journey with an experienced physician. It is important that the hospital is fully equipped, has a blood bank<\/strong> and adult<\/strong> and neonatal intensive care units<\/strong>, that the operating room and delivery room are close to each other, and that the staff are experienced in this field.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
